RESPONSIBLE AI CREATION

Content Standards and Acceptable Use

Last updated: 2026-10-20

This policy applies to prompts, uploaded references, AI prompt editing, generated images and related use of Lumen, and forms part of our Terms of Service. Do not bypass model or platform safety controls, or present AI images as real photographs or evidence.

1. Content standards and prohibited categories

Do not use the service to generate, edit or distribute any of these six categories:

Pornography / NSFW content

Do not generate or edit explicit sexual acts, close-ups of sexual organs, pornographic nudity, sexual-service advertising or content intended for sexual arousal. Artistic framing, roleplay or private use does not bypass this prohibition.

Violence / graphic gore

Do not generate or distribute graphic injuries, dismemberment, torture, abuse, violent threats, promotion of terrorism or extremism, or instructions that facilitate real-world harm.

Hate speech and discrimination

Do not incite hatred, dehumanize, discriminate against, harass or encourage exclusion or violence against people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar protected characteristics.

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and child endangerment

We prohibit sexual, sexualized, exploitative, grooming or other child-endangering content involving minors or people who appear to be minors, including fictional, animated and AI-generated depictions. Do not upload or forward the illegal material itself when reporting it.

Deepfakes / impersonation

Do not create deceptive face swaps, undressing, intimate scenes or fabricated statements/actions involving real people, or impersonate people, brands or institutions to create false evidence, fraud or misleading content. Non-consensual intimate imagery is prohibited; permission to use source material does not authorize these prohibited uses.

Copyright / trademark and other rights infringement

Do not copy, adapt or distribute protected works without permission, misuse trademarks or logos, create counterfeit goods, or infringe likeness, reputation, privacy or other lawful rights. AI generation does not grant third-party permissions.

2. Source materials and AI labels

Only upload images you have the necessary rights to use. For real people, use your own materials or obtain explicit permission, and never produce content prohibited by this policy. Do not maliciously remove or conceal AI labels; follow the labeling rules of the channel where you publish.

3. Content moderation

Our current mechanism combines upstream model safety responses with manual review of user reports. When the upstream service rejects content or returns a moderation failure, we do not deliver that task as a successful result and show a safety notice. We do not operate an independent real-time moderation system and cannot claim independent scanning of every input and output.

Report-form submissions are recorded as tickets and email notification to the operator is attempted. Delivery can vary: a ticket number confirms registration, not a completed review. The operator checks the report, relevant links and task information. Child-safety concerns, serious violence and urgent infringement risks receive priority.

4. Reporting and review process

  1. Submit: use the form below or our public email, with relevant links, task IDs, times and necessary rights documentation. Never include passwords, API keys, bank details or illegal images themselves.
  2. Review: the operator records the issue, assesses risk and conducts manual review, requesting additional information or contacting the upstream provider where necessary. Reporter details are used only as needed to handle the report.
  3. Action: after verification, proportionate measures within our operational control may include requesting correction, removing copies controlled by the platform, stopping the relevant service or lawfully cooperating with competent authorities. Browser-local and third-party website copies are not under our direct control.
  4. Response: we normally provide an initial review or request further information within 7 business days; complex issues may take longer. This is not a promise of round-the-clock staffing or a fixed resolution deadline.

5. Appeals and direct contact

To challenge a decision, email your ticket or task ID, reasons and supporting information to request another review. You can also contact us directly for customer support, reports and appeals:
